Understanding Trauma
Have you noticed?
Trauma can make you feel like you're crazy or losing your mind. But this is actually the way your body or brain help you survive. Here are common things you may experience: feeling jumpy and constantly on alert for danger, doing reckless or self-destructive things, remembering things that happened when you don't want to, thinking non-stop about it, avoiding people, places or things that remind you of what happened, losing interest in activities s or blaming yourself, detaching and feeling numb or disconnected to everything, trusting people less, and forgetting everything that has happened. You don't have to endure alone, we are here to help you.
