Holy Week

It is finished.

"It is finished." May those words land on your bones for the nights when fear tells you the cross was a beginning, and you must finish grace.

LUKE 24

Sunday is coming.

May your Easter weekend be filled with remembrance of all Jesus did for you and made available to you. Soak up every drop of this truth. And like the quote says, let the finished work of the cross land on your bones and dispel every fear and temptation to add to it. IT IS FINISHED.

Find the deepest peace (not as the world gives, but true peace) in knowing that there was a Saturday placed in between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. Can you imagine how that Saturday must have felt to the disciples and those who knew Jesus? They walked with Him every day, seeing first hand His love, compassion, and countless miracles received. Now witnessing Him mocked, tormented, stretched out on a cross, and body lying lifeless. Oh, but Sunday came, that stone was rolled away, and the tomb was empty for HE HAS RISEN!

Maybe you're experiencing a Saturday season of grieving, or weightiness. If that's you or someone you know, remember that Sunday IS coming, and all things will be made new.

Blessings!
